About Italiandogsrescue
Italiandogsrescue is an organization dedicated to rescuing vulnerable dogs and cats, mainly from Italy. Together with a team of committed volunteers, we give these animals a second chance at a safe and loving life.
Many of the animals we help are found on the streets, abandoned in fields, left along roadsides or even dumped in boxes. They are often neglected, ill or in danger. Thanks to our close cooperation with local rescuers in Italy, we can take them in, provide care and prepare them for adoption.
Fully compliant with European regulations
All animals travelling to Belgium or the Netherlands meet European legal requirements. They are:
• microchipped
• vaccinated (including rabies)
• dewormed and treated for fleas
• provided with a European passport
• accompanied by an official health certificate
Afterwards, they travel safely to Belgium or the Netherlands, where they are welcomed into foster homes or placed directly with their adoptive families.
Our mission
Our mission is simple yet powerful: every animal deserves a chance, regardless of age, size or background.
We do not focus solely on puppies we also help older and larger dogs who often have little to no chance of adoption elsewhere.

• Support local rescuers
• Organize sterilization campaigns to reduce overpopulation
